Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to request deletion of your data.

What can be deleted

  • Personal account data (your user profile and credentials)
  • Organization configuration and related operational data (when requested by an org owner/admin)
  • Integration tokens and configuration (e.g., Meta, Shopify, Slack)
  • Transient telemetry and operational logs (per retention policies)

Note: For Meta Conversions API, we do not retain hashed user_data beyond transient processing. Minimal event metadata (e.g., event_id, timestamps, pixel/dataset ID, response status) may be retained for troubleshooting for a limited period, as described in our Privacy Policy.

How to request deletion

  1. In-app:
    • Disconnect integrations in your organization settings if you only want to remove integrations.
    • Use account or organization “Danger Zone” if available to delete your account or organization.
  2. Email:
    • Send a request to support@capitalos.io from your verified account email.
    • Include your organization name/slug and describe the scope (e.g., account-only, organization data, specific integrations).

We will verify your identity/authorization, then delete or anonymize data within a reasonable period, subject to lawful retention requirements.
